NFL Boycott reason
The actual reason of Kaepernick kneeling was to peacefully protest against USA police that was cruel against black people. Though, the intention of Kaepernick was not to disrespect the flag of America but American took it wrong when Kaepernick stood a knee during the national anthem of the USA.
After the incident, Kaepernick was blackballed. The players were then restricted to stay in the room during national anthem or they had to stand when the national anthem had to play.
Now, in 2020, NFL’s new commissioner regrated in the video about condemning peaceful protest of Kaepernick in 2016. He further stated that League misconducted his act. NFL allowed Kaepernick to join the team after four years. Moreover, peaceful protesting has also ranked in this regard.
In response to this video, American has shown their protest because in their views Kaepernick has disrespected the flag of the nation. It became a top trend on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media channels.
